Chantal has always had a fascination and interest in smiles, so completing the Dental Assistant program at Oulton College was a perfect fit. After joining the Docbraces Smile Team in 2004 as a Records and Lab Technician, Chantal’s passion was obvious and she moved into the role of an Orthodontic Assistant, and then into her current position as Clinical Lead. It’s Chantal’s responsibility to ensure that all of our clinics run smoothly and that all of our clinicians are well versed in the Docbraces process, providing consistent, great quality care to all of our patients. When Chantal’s not at Docbraces singing or writing songs, she’s at home with her family of three children, two dogs and a cockatiel, or at their cottage in Grand Lake. She’s also fond of skiing and travelling—especially to places like Australia where she has extended family.
Pam, one of our talented Orthodontic Hygienists, has over 25 years in orthodontics, and in that time has loved being able to help so many patients achieve the smile transformations they always wanted. When she isn’t helping our patients, she’s likely creating something with her sewing machine or paintbrush, reading or enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and two sons. Pam’s family also includes Sophie and Millie, her two friendly cats.
Orthodontic Hygienist Cynthia has always had a passion for helping people get the smiles they’ve dreamed of, and having had braces herself, she understands our patients’ needs and experiences. As our patients know, Cynthia is dedicated to making sure that you’re happy with your results, and she loves to see our patients reach their goals and see their smiles change with each visit. When she’s not seeing patients, she’s likely to be found travelling when she can, and spending time with her family and friends.
As a Docbraces Smile Team™ member since 2006, Orthodontic Assistant Rachel loves to challenge herself and make our patients feel comfortable while helping them get their desired results, or, as she might say, “create smile magic”! Since graduating from Oulton College, she’s been an important member of the team. If she isn’t at Docbraces, she’s often spending time with her dog, Lex, and her family, boating or snowmobiling.
Since moving back to the East Coast from Calgary in 2008, Tammy’s been a friendly member of the Docbraces team, offering smiles to all of our patients. As an Orthodontic Assistant, Tammy loves to watch how our patients transform over the course of their treatment. When she isn’t supporting the team, she’s most often spending time with her two kids (and baking their favourite treats!) or outside in the sunshine, enjoying all that nature has to offer.
Rachel has been an enthusiastic member of the Docbraces Smile Team™ since 2009, when she moved back to New Brunswick from Calgary. Rachel had braces herself, so she’s fully aware of the amazing impact on self-esteem and confidence that can come from having your dream smile. As an Orthodontic Assistant, she loves helping patients and finds her career really rewarding. When she isn’t helping patients with their treatment, you’re likely to find her spending time with her family, travelling, reading, or watching baseball.
Initially joining Docbraces as a Orthodontic Assistant in 2010, Chelsea took advantage of the opportunity to become a Treatment Coordinator three years later. Now, she’s one of the helpful team members you’ll speak to when you first call or visit Docbraces. Chelsea’s passionate about helping our patients’ smile dreams come true, and loves to see how people transform with their new smiles. When she isn’t speaking to patients, she’s likely to be spending time with her family, and counts being a mom among her greatest achievements. She also likes movies, exercising, shopping or bonding with the other members of the Smile Team™.
Jessica has been a member of the Docbraces Smile Team™ since 2013, a year after she completed he Dental Hygiene program at Oulton College. Jessica has always known that Orthodontics is the field for her, and since starting with us she’s been helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable by bringing a sense of fun and lots of laughter to each patient. She loves to see smiles develop, and can’t wait to help you! When she isn’t working, she’s spending time with her family and friends, or baking sweet treats or exploring the world.
In her long career in orthodontics, Janice has held a number of different positions. She first gained experience as a receptionist where she learned about many aspects of orthodontic treatment and care. She quickly grew into more senior roles, and is now Docbraces’ Operations Lead, responsible for keeping us all organized and the practice running smoothly. When she isn’t working, she spends time with her husband and two children, and enjoys being outside doing some gardening, walking, camping or travelling south for swimming and sightseeing.
Tracy Turner AKA T-Rex
When she joined the team in 2009, it was as a Patient Service Coordinator. We quickly discovered her flair for numbers and she’s since become the Accounting Lead. Tracy is a passionate member of our team and loves to be able to contribute to out patients’ treatment, particularly when it leads to improved confidence and greater quality of life. When she isn’t at Docbraces, she’s typically spending time with friends, family and her dog, reading, crunching numbers while enjoying the beautiful surroundings that our area has to offer.
Part of the Docbraces Smile Team™ for a decade, Krysta’s passion for helping our patients get the treatment they need and achieve their smile goals is clear. As our Scheduling Lead, she loves to see the transformations our patients experience. When she isn’t helping to find a convenient time for you to visit the orthodontist, she’s probably watching movies, exercising, or reading. She loves to spend time with her family and friends at hockey games or outside, making the most of our amazing landscape.
We first met Sophia as a patient in 2003, and ten years later she joined or team as a Records/Lab Technician ! Her interest in the transformation patients experience, not only with their smiles, but with increased confidence and self-esteem led her to follow her dreams. Knowing first hand about the Docbraces Difference, she’s keen to pass her experience and passion for orthodontic treatment on to all of our patients. When she isn’t working, you’ll probably find her outside: skiing in winter and tanning in the summer!
