Dr. Leagh Harfield was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, and moved to Calgary, AB, in 1989. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba and practiced general dentistry for 10 years before attaining his Master of Science at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA, and becoming a certified specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He returned to Calgary in 1998 and has since been in full-time private practice as an Orthodontist. He loves music, exercise, cars, traveling, and fostering rescue dogs — sometimes up to four dogs at once!

Dr. Faraz Tavoossi grew up in British Columbia but has been an Albertan for many years now. He obtained his Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Dental Surgery and Orthodontic specialty degrees from the University of Alberta. Dr. Tavoossi also spent a year at the University of California, Los Angeles doing a General Practice Residency where he treated special needs and medically complex patients in the hospital setting. He received numerous awards and honours over his 11-year educational journey towards becoming an orthodontist. Dr. Tavoossi loves sharing his passion for orthodontics with his patients and feels that being an orthodontist is the most rewarding career as he gets to help create beautiful smiles while building personal connections with his patients. In his free time, Dr. Tavoossi enjoys staying active with basketball and tennis, and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys traveling. He has volunteered in Guatemala providing free dental care and even participated in a dental exchange program in Germany.
