Dr. Mo Moniri Fard

Dr. Mo Moniri Fard is a Canadian Board Certified Orthodontist and a fellow of Royal College of Dentists of Canada, was born and raised in Iran. He completed his general dentistry (DDS) in Iran then he achieved his Orthodontic certification in both Iran (MSc from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences) and Canada (DSATP in Orthodontics from University of British Columbia). Before moving to Canada, he worked as an Orthodontist and a university professor of Orthodontics for 6 years in Iran. Trained in a top dental school in Iran and an internationally respected one in Canada and having practiced and taught Orthodontics for several years, he was blessed with the opportunity of treating a wide range of orthodontic patients from interceptive treatment for children to comprehensive and complex treatments for adolescents and adults. After completing his Orthodontic program at University of British Columbia, he passed the NDSE/RCDC examinations and became a Canadian Board Certified Orthodontist and a fellow of Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He is also a member of Canadian, American and Iranian Associations of Orthodontists. He loves nature and while not working, spends a lot of time hiking and cycling in beautiful British Columbia with his wife Ava.
