Meet Dr. Hussein Haji
Dr. Hussein Haji was born in Belleville, Ontario and after completing a year of science at the University of Waterloo, he obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy at Dalhousie University. He then pursued dentistry and received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Toronto alongside an award for First Place in Orthodontics at graduation, followed by general practice residency in New York. He completed his specialty training at the University of British Columbia, where he earned a Diploma in Orthodontics alongside a Masters in Craniofacial Science.

Q: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: I wanted to be a Pharmacist like my Mom and Dad! I eventually went to Pharmacy school at Dalhousie before studying Dentistry at UofT

A: It is a specialty that has infinite possibilities and potential!

A: Finding my wife, Nafisa

A: Always keeping the patient's needs first in your mind

A: Being open to listening!

A: Patient centered, with the goal of achieving an excellent result

A: Volunteering at local homeless shelter
